He not only gets paid market price but gets paid on time.
The fair trade premium has helped him to build a cowshed.

Kantibhai Gohil
Kantibhai Gohil is an extremely passionate young farmer. He listens to news
on radio BBC and is updated with world news.
He talks about his friend’s death due to chemical fertilizer poisoning. He
also said that his cotton crop used to change colour after the use of
fertilizer. Then it would take around 20 days to come back in natural colour.
Kantibhai now work relentlessly with other farmers to only use natural
fertilizer.
His father Noghabhai Gohil says; ‘organic farming means less expense and
more produce”.
He has dug pit holes to use them for composting with fair trade premium. He
also shows how he makes natural fertilizer using local plants.
He is completely infectious. It is pleasant to meet such an enthusiastic
young farmer.
